Lake Dunstan, in contrast to other central lakes, is rarely still as locals will attest- the wind funnels down the valley from the north over the water and it is thoroughly unpleasant a lot of the time! So this was a most unusual occasion. But yes, when it is still, lake reflections in Otago are exquisite.

Otago's reflections are some of the most stunning I have seen anywhere. Maybe when it is still it is very very still.
