This giant palm was being towed down Arnold St from the very top which is extremely steep when the trailer with 4WD attached took off, travelled about 60 metres before jack-knifing into our neighbours property. Thankfully the out-of-control threesome didn't hit anybody or anything. The tree owner said they were hoping to transplant it somewhere else and had been removed as it was in the middle of a new house site. As it was lifted off this morning by a truck with crane, I sent my best wishes to the tree hoping it will survive its very close shave.
